You might want to add a slider in place of your homepage header. In that case, all you have to do is:
- Place a slider widget as the first widget in the “Homepage” widget area, which should appear just under the header on your page.
- Edit your homepage and change the page template in the “Page Attributes” box to the “Homepage Template: Minimal” template. This will remove the header from your homepage and make your slider widget appear as the new header for the page.
